Michal Smetana, Managing Director
Michal is the co-founder of the company LUX-IDent s.r.o. and he is the head of purchase, finance and marketing. Michal studied economy at the Institute of Economic Studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences of Charles University in Prague, where he specialized in economy politicy. He also studied economy at the Univezität Konstanz in Germany. During his studies he worked as an intern for global companies like Ernst & Young and Gebrüder Weiss.
Petr Vičar, Managing Director
Petr Vičar, a FEL ČVUT graduate, was at the very beginning of LUX-IDent. He is responsible for production performance and sales. He has many years of experience from international business.

Martin Březina, Sales & Business Development Director
Martin has been working for LUX-IDent company in the position of Sales and Business Development Director since January 2011 and in the smart card industry since 1998. Martin was the founding partner and the executive of ACG spol. s r.o., Central and Eastern European branch of German-based ACG AG, operating in the RFID and smart card sector. Since 2002, Martin was the Managing Director, partner and chairman of the board of directors of ACG Central and Eastern Europe, a.s. – continuator of ACG spol. s r.o. Following the acquisition of ACG AG by Assa Abloy AB in 2003, he started working as a Branch Manager of ACG Identification Technologies GmbH - branch Central and Eastern Europe. Martin decided to leave ACG in May 2006 and started working for his own sales and consultation company in the smart card industry then. Before 1998 Martin had worked in different industrial branches for a multinational company Armstrong Europe, GmbH as the Sales and Marketing Manager for Central and Eastern Europe. Martin acquired his Dipl.-Ing. degree at the Czech Technical University in Prague.
Radek Dokoupil, Technical Director
Radek has been working for LUX-IDent s.r.o. since 2004. He is in charge of the technical development of the company. He has worked in several companies as a development specialist, designer, quality specialist and technologist. He studied electrotechnology at the Faculty of Electric Engineering of VUT, Brno.
Aleš Franta, Quality Manager
Aleš has been working for LUX-IDent s.r.o. since 2008. He is responsible for employee training, customer complaints and the quality system management. He worked at a similar position in AVX, a world leading producer of tantalum capacitators. He studied analytic chemistry at the Faculty of Chemical Technology of the Pardubice University.
Michal Marek, Production Manager
Michal was one of the first employees in the company and he is responsible for production. Michal is a machine specialist and takes part in their development. He had worked as an electrical engineer and production machinery specialist for the AVX company for 9 years. He was responsible for the programming of single-purpose machines including camera systems. Michal studied electrical engineering at the Secondary Railway School in Česká Třebová, where he specialized in electronics.
