
Paper ticket is typically intended for one-time usage. An example might be a single ride on a public transport system. The aim of the paper ticket solution is to have a low cost product which still keeps the advantages of RFID technology used inside. The paper ticket contains a programmable integrated circuit based typically on HF chip connected to antenna. The ticket operates by collecting energy from the RF field emitted by a reader device. It is made of paper. The ticket is usually made up of 3 layers which consist of the top and bottom covers of the paper ticket sandwiched with an inlay between. The covers allow visual personalization of surface through printing.
