HF labels

HF labels

HF label is a typical identification label which contains a programmable integrated circuit based on an HF (High Frequency) chip and has an antenna connected to it. It communicates through radio frequency (RF) signals with a reader. HF label operates by collecting energy from the RF field emitted by a reader device. Its base is made out of paper or plastic. The label can have a self-adhesive surface with a cover. The label is usually made up of 3 layers which consist of the top and bottom covers of the Smart Label sandwiched with an inlay in between. The covers allow printing while the inlay contains the antenna connected to a chip.
